Is it a good idea to study in China?

 I think I'm qualified to answer this question. I'm a foreigner who has lived in Shanghai for 5 years and in Shenzhen for 2. Currently studying in HK while my family is in Shenzhen.


One piece of advice I cannot stress on enough is that do not, I repeat do not go to China looking for a job. Instead look for a company in Canada or somewhere else that will be willing to send you to work there on an expat package. Your house will be paid for by the company, you'll probably have a driver, better salary and more secure fixed contract job. Chances are that with these perks you will enjoy the city more, which I (think) from reading your question, is what you want to go to China for. Just my two cents.

Is it a good idea to study in China?

  https://www.istudy-china.com/      My last university, Jinggangshan University in Jiangxi Province, had a large number of students from African countries and from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, and, Nepal. There was even a student from New Guinea. My present university in Heilongjiang Province has a small number of students from Russia. I don’t know how difficult it is for them to get into Chinese universities.
