I studied International Communications in University of Nottingham Ningbo and I think that answering this question can help other people who might come across with it. I was an exchange student last semester in Nottingham. I am originally from Spain so I was quite excited and worried about living on another country. I was also intriguided about my education, as I had never studied in English or had chinese colleagues. But regardless, I took the decision of studying in China and it has been one of the best things that has ever happened in my life.   https://www.istudy-china.com/      My last university, Jinggangshan University in Jiangxi Province, had a large number of students from African countries and from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, and, Nepal. There was even a student from New Guinea. My present university in Heilongjiang Province has a small number of students from Russia. I don’t know how difficult it is for them to get into Chinese universities.

  https://www.istudy-china.com/      Hi! My name is Clara and I have indeed studied and lived in China. I attended University of Nottingham Ningbo. So, did I regreted taking this decision? Would I do it again? Well, first things first. I want to clarify that I was an exchange student on an English speaking University. So this experience was unique in a way, since inside my campus all students and most of the staff spoke English, so my culture shock was not as great as somebody else’s. However, I traveled and visited many places, on my own and with friends. I absolutely enjoyed China, even though the first weeks I struggled a bit adapting into life there. As I mentioned it was not a great deal of a shock but some details kept piling up and somehow I had to embrace them. For example, China’s cuisine, times of having lunch, classes with chinese students, etc. But my great culture shock came after a couple of months since I went on a trip outside Ningbo. Is it a good idea to study in China?

  https://www.istudy-china.com/      I think I'm qualified to answer this question. I'm a foreigner who has lived in Shanghai for 5 years and in Shenzhen for 2. Currently studying in HK while my family is in Shenzhen. One piece of advice I cannot stress on enough is that do not, I repeat do not go to China looking for a job. Instead look for a company in Canada or somewhere else that will be willing to send you to work there on an expat package. Your house will be paid for by the company, you'll probably have a driver, better salary and more secure fixed contract job. Chances are that with these perks you will enjoy the city more, which I (think) from reading your question, is what you want to go to China for. Just my two cents.
